About.
Welcome. This is a space dedicated to grief, healing, and the process of rebuilding life after loss. I am an author, therapist, and widowed mother of two daughters. My work is shaped by both personal experience and professional practice, giving me a grounded perspective on what it means to navigate loss—not just emotionally, but in the everyday realities of life that follow.
Through my writing, I focus on practical, reflective tools that help people process difficult experiences and move forward with intention. Much of my work centers on therapeutic writing, offering structured ways to put words to what often feels overwhelming or unspoken. I don’t believe healing is linear or quick. It is layered, personal, and often messy. My goal is to create resources that meet you in that reality—honest, accessible, and grounded in both compassion and clarity.

My Story.
I have written two books focused on helping readers process loss and navigate the realities of grief through structured reflection:
📖 The Healing Letter: How Writing Can Help You Process and Overcome Difficult Experiences – This book explores how therapeutic letter writing can be a powerful tool for emotional healing, featuring guided exercises, personal insights, and real-life examples.
📖 Breaking: Understanding the Loss of a Partner – A heartfelt look at the complexities of losing a spouse, this book provides compassionate guidance for widows, their families, and those supporting someone through grief.
This work is grounded in a simple premise: writing can create clarity amid overwhelm. Each book is designed to help readers engage with their experience directly—at their own pace, and in their own words.
After the death of my late husband, Jeremy, my life seemingly turned upside down and on my head. My husband was my rock, comfort, and strength. As a single mother of two young girls, I often asked the tricky question: "Okay, so now what?" Don't get me wrong—we have had to figure out how life can continue—but more than a year later, the good days are challenging, and the difficult days are seemingly impossible.
Jeremy died on December 21, 2021, from pancreatic cancer that had spread throughout his body, taking his life in just 100 days. Little is known about this form of cancer, though it happens to be one of the deadliest. Since then, it has been my goal not only to bring comfort to others facing loss but also to raise awareness about pancreatic cancer. As they say, "The struggle is most definitely real."
This blog is more than just healing for me—it’s about providing comfort and a sense of hope and humor for you. My life is far from ordinary; it's extraordinary, but if sharing my journey can make even a small difference in yours, then I know I’m on the right path.
My Books.

More To Come.
This work is continuing to expand. While my current books focus on grief and healing, I am also developing additional projects that explore different ways of telling meaningful stories. This includes Christian devotionals, as well as future writing in fiction—including a planned murder mystery—and potentially children’s books.
Not every project serves the same purpose. Some are designed to help readers process real-life experiences. Others are created to explore ideas through story, or simply to engage creativity differently.
What connects all of this work is a focus on reflection, meaning, and the complexity of being human—whether that is approached through personal writing, faith-based content, or fiction.
New work will be added over time as these projects develop.
